Love is the ultimate alchemical portal ~ it is the key to all effective transformation.
Unconditional love is a devotional choice. When we choose devotion to love, we can meet ALL parts of ourselves and our humanity, with the understanding that every part of us is love consciousness itself.
Heart is the true seat of embodied consciousness.
The energy of the Heart ~ of Love ~ is the place from which our deepest body+mind anchor exists.
Love is the transformational ingredient that helps us to open to all the parts of ourselves that have been shut off to, that have been unaccepted, that have been locked away. Love is the key to the softening of Acceptance; it is the magic that gently opens the years-long locked away doors.
In this Pleasure of the Heart practice, we will explore how to feel pleasure in our bodies through connecting with the Heart ~ the physical, anatomical area of the heart/breasts/chests, the energetic heart of the upper torso, and the vast spiritual heart that is the interconnectedness of all that exists.
We’ll work with energy, breath, sounding, movement, touch, meditation, visualization.
There will be an option for a guided breast/chest/heartspace self-massage or partner-massage at the end of the practice.
Everything is an invitation and you design your own experience to what feels within your realm of resourced-ness.

Heart in Action · Community Care
Pleasure of the Heart is being offered, in part, as a gesture of love and support for someone very dear to me.
A portion of proceeds from this circle will be donated to support my close friend Lindsay, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Lindsay is walking emblem of graceful surrender to the portals of life. She is a light in every way and I’m incredibly grateful to call her a friend, a sister in life. She and I met through our coaching program, VITA, in spring 2023. In my visits to the Seattle area, we’ve been able to deepen a friendship with in-person connection. She visited Bend in fall 2024 for a day retreat at my house, co-facilitated with Amanda Carson so she and some Bend women have had the pleasure of meeting and spending ritual time together.
The extension of this practice circle is a meaningful way to weave heart, body, and community care together.
